that this and the answer has to be no. the fact that he got that shows that the president obama administration has carried off this robust war by drones. 4,800 people have been killed by drone strikes under the obama administration. that is an astounding number. i think it is troublesome. the fact that rand paul had to go to such lengths to get that simple answer that is what resonated. i don't think it advanced the drone question that much but that is the beauty of politics in 2013. rand paul is pretty low key? he gave almost a lecture here. he is charismatic but he doesn't a -- >> i'm glad to see a politician stand for something, has core values. in something. stand up for something. on the other hand you have john mccain stuffing his face for president obama. if he had core values and core con visions he did not like what rand paul stood for, go to the filibuster and call him on it. what did he do? he waited until the next day, had a nice party with president obama, fed that fat face of his and then came back to the floor and made an issue about it. i understand that john mccain is a big supporter of t

a major concern already for both the obama administration and netanyahu's administration. we do know according to a senior israeli official that i spoke with on condition of anonymity that this issue of the united states being asked to strike syria if certain things such as some of their weapons, missiles in particular are heading over the border to hezbollah, an organization in lebanon that the united states and israel both consider a terrorist organization. that is going to be something that is going to be on the agenda in the discussions. but this chemical weapon issue is one that they were going to be talking about beforehand. they also have talked about the difficulties if you speak with folks that know about how to get rid of some of the weapons, the difficulties of getting rid of chemical weapons, you cannot just do an air strike. you have to go in on the ground to pull those out. a very big concern. we've been on the border of the israel-syria border and been able to hear some of the fighting inside of syria. some of that fighting spilled over into israel. so definitely a ver

. if you look the last four years and a policy the obama administration has put in place, it is higher taxes, and burdensome regulations, have made it more expensive for job creators to create jobs and have resulted in sluggish economic growth. we have had .8% growth for the past four years. you would hope the democrats will be looking at policies that will grow the economy. what you're hearing is it will be more of the same. we are talking about a $1 trillion tax increase, more expensive -- more spending and nothing to save social security and medicare reform and those programs in a way that will align them with the feature demographics of this country. it is more the same policies with regard to their budget. we think there is a better way and will look for opportunities to offer amendments that will put that out -- that will point that out. the democrat budget will make it more difficult for stock traders to get back to work. -- for job creators to creat e jobs to get people back to work. >> there was a story today that talked-about the number of democrats griping about the presiden

, that is the administration's agenda, by and large. so, i guess, and i -- is it fair to say, you like the obama agenda more than you like the republican's agenda because the@ are again almost av u all of th? >> no, in the area of education, i think actual that's is one of the more bipartisan areas right now than most others, the idea that teachers need feedback, and that we need to bring technology in because the coasts are out of control, i think we're make progress in that because it is not that partisan, everyone wants great education. if you look at things like the aids program that gam came in wh the bush administration, that is bipartisan, despite the numeric challenge, i don't think that anybody wants to take aids drugs away from people in energy, i wish we could shift some of the subsidies for any form of energy, and increase research. and i don't think that is a democrat versus republican issue, american research, seriousness about research, and healthy and energy if we come up with a right energy thing, then you -- you -- if it is cheap enough you get rid of subdecides that is where the huge cost
